about

edit 19/10/23: ok so hey guys my 4 track has been broken for like a month (channel 2 doesnt work) and yesterday i got it back from the repair shop and they were like yeah man lol cant fix it sorry. rest assured the soapstone demo tape will happen but of course this is a pretty big wrench in it all (if everything had gone smoothly hopefully it'd be finished by now. ohh well) so as compensation, i have added not ONE not TWO not FOUR not FIVE but THREE extra tracks to this album after out of style. ohh yes. think of it as an expansion pack. sopstone out

hey guys! 5 years ago on this very day i released Soap Sounds. technically it was not the first soapstone release but it was the first i put enough effort into to consider the, like, "start of soapstone". it still wasn't good but since then i have learnt all sorts of things about music! apparently they're in "keys". anyway.
ive talked about a "soapstone album" for the past couple years, and since its a special soapstone day i'll share some things about it. so, i plan to release a demo album sometime soon-ish (i wanted it finished for today, but alas) which will have little lofi home demos of like every song ive written in the past couple years. then with the assistance of a real fancy studio (thanks university) i will record my first proper album which will be called Everything Means Something To Someone. oh yeah. so cool

btw this is a temporary release and it will probably get privated when the demo tape comes out.
